Favourite Photos from March 2011
March turned out to be a fairly rich month for photos on this blog. I had a hard time narrowing my selections down to just these five. I think some of the regular visitors to this blog might have others they would have included and they're free to suggest them. As for me, these five pictures are my finalists for the month of March. I'd appreciate it if you would all vote for your favourite, using the "Comment" button at the bottom of this post.
#1: The Shadow Knows
#2: Perigee Full Moon
#3: Street Musicians
#4: The Colours of Morning
#5: Reflections of Wilmot

January's picture of the month is...
Reflections of Tuscany!!! Two web votes and a number more votes provided to me either by email or in person. Although the shot of the cold, cold grave stone received strong support, this photograph of Fredericton's Beaverbrook Hotel, reflected in the front windows of the new Convention Centre, appealed both artistically and as a reflection of the City of Fredericton.
Don't forget to vote, using the comments button, on February's photo in my last post! And thanks for voting on the January shots!

Photo favourites from January 2011
With the year in pictures now complete, it's time to look back and choose our favourites from each month. I have this silly idea that, if I identify the 12 to 14 photos that people like best, I can make my own wall calendar for 2013, using those photos.
So I'm going to ask anyone who visits over the next 12 weeks to review the photographs that I've chosen for each month and then use the Comments button, at the bottom of each entry, to tell me which you like best. The photo with the most votes wins and is in the calendar, if I ever make one.
You are also welcome to look back over the photos on this blog for the month of January and choose one or two that you like that I haven't included here. Just tell me the Day Number it appeared. Thanks for taking part!
#1: Grave stone in snow
#2: Red lamp at Isaac's Way
#3: Reflections of Tuscany (Fredericton Convention Centre)
#4: Signs in soft light (Old Montreal)
#5: Rye and Ginger
#6: Ghost and the machine
